The Chicago Jazz Philharmonic provides meaningful and accessible music education to Chicago and beyond while teaching important life skills and providing a pathway to higher education.

The pandemic allowed us to reevaluate what our classrooms could be. Unable to come together in person, we embraced virtual education models that allowed our programs to be accessible to all our families and communities. CJPU expands this framework and provides an opportunity for students of all ages to learn, explore, and grow together, regardless of physical location. CJPU’s courses are accessible anywhere home and abroad, expanding our community beyond Chicago and making our programming accessible both nationally and internationally. The Chicago Jazz Philharmonic invites you to learn music from anywhere you access the internet, on your time, from expert music educators.
